Six Meters: Harbor

For our second on-campus performance, Six Meters took inspiration from jugs of water brought onstage halfway through the show. Flicking droplets, pouring streams, and dunking each other reminded me of baptisms and cleansing as well as fear at the sudden shock of cold. We played to our strengths, creating a beautiful soundscape with voices and impromptu instruments. Eventually I made my way to the piano, where I improvised an accompaniment to the performers onstage, once again combining my love of music with physical theatre. Improvised dance, physical theatre, and music - there's nothing I'd rather do on a Saturday night.
