Going UiP on a Tuesday!
Last night, we had a wonderful performance in UiP, doing long-form improv for over a hundred people at our usual Red Door venue. One striking quality of this group is how much fun we have together - I hope that in LA I'll be able to work consistently with another improv group that takes so much joy from the process. What a privilege to be a part of an ensemble that constantly strives to be better, tighter, and more supportive while also having a blast. That's how I want to wo
Six Meters at Hillside School
On Friday, February 27, we performed at Hillside, an elementary and middle school for children with ADD and related learning disabilities. The audience of about 100 was attentive and engaged, and our performance of a little over an hour flew by. Six Meters at Phoebe Retirement Home

With a partner, you fill in the spaces of their body, which can be under their arms, between their fingers, between their head and back, anywhere. Then one partner moves away, leaving the other in a dynamic shape. We
UiP: Underground Improv Project
~ UiP performs long-form impov once a month in the Red Door at Muhlenberg College ~ Inspired by a word from the audience, the ensemble performs 8-10 short scenes for Round One, then expands the world of 4-5 of those scenes for Round Two. The third and final round sees UiP take 1-3 of the developed scenes and further expand and connect them, throwing in flashbacks, tap-outs, and other means of exploring the "game" of the scenes. Over my four years as a member of UiP, we were f
