UiP: Underground Improv Project
~ UiP performs long-form impov once a month in the Red Door at Muhlenberg College ~
Inspired by a word from the audience, the ensemble performs 8-10 short scenes for Round One, then expands the world of 4-5 of those scenes for Round Two. The third and final round sees UiP take 1-3 of the developed scenes and further expand and connect them, throwing in flashbacks, tap-outs, and other means of exploring the "game" of the scenes.
Over my four years as a member of UiP, we were fortunate to have an extremely loyal audience who would come in numbers well exceeding 100, continuing to pour into the space even when it was beyond standing room only.
